Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments to determine students orientation and mobility needs and design appropriate instructional plans Teach students to safely and confidently navigate their school and community environments Collaborate with Teachers for the Visually Impaired to align mobility instruction with students Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Provide training on the use of assistive mobility devices and related technology Consult with school personnel and families, offering guidance and resources Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and communicate regularly with the educational team Perks of the
