Key Qualifications:

Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting strongly preferred Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach Ability to develop and implement individualized intervention plans Enthusiasm for working with a diverse student population

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students, promoting fine motor, sensory, and functional life skills Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student goals and progress Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students needs and eligibility for OT services Develop Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and document progress in accordance with school requirements Maintain accurate records and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings Support inclusive practices to ensure students of all abilities can thrive in the school environment
