Category Schools - COTA Job Type Contract Here's an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) ready to make a difference in a dynamic school environment. This full-time, full-school-year contract position offers the chance to support students with mild to severe needs across multiple sites in a supportive district near Red Rock, AZ. As an itinerant COTA, you'll play a key role in delivering therapy services and promoting student independence within educational settings.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Current, active COTA license required Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred Ability to support students with a range of needs, from mild to severe Valid IVP Fingerprint Card (or ability to obtain) Strong communication and collaboration skills Adaptable, organized, and confident working across multiple schools
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students as determined by IEPs Collaborate with supervising Occupational Therapist, educators, and families to support student development Collect, maintain, and report student progress data Adapt activities to meet individualized instructional goals across multiple school sites Travel between assigned schools to deliver consistent therapy and documentation Participate in meetings and contribute to IEP development for assigned students Experience a supportive environment where supervision is provided, and your skills are valued as you help students reach their full potential.
