Job Description

Category Schools - COTA Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity in a school-based environment supporting students' growth and development. This position is ideal for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with a passion for working in educational settings. Serving students from November through March, you'll collaborate with educators and other specialists to help ensure every child has the opportunity to thrive. Enjoy a flexible, part-time schedule—working just two days each week, with flexibility on which days you work. Make an impact while maintaining work-life balance.
What We're Looking For:
Current certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred Strong communication and teamwork abilities Ability to effectively support individualized education plans (IEPs) Passion for helping students develop functional and daily living skills Collaborative and adaptable mindset
Your Key Responsibilities:
Work alongside OTs and educational staff to provide direct therapy services to students Assist in the development, implementation, and documentation of treatment interventions Support students in achieving goals outlined in IEPs Monitor progress, record data, and maintain accurate documentation Adjust therapy techniques based on student response and feedback from the educational team Participate in team meetings to discuss student progress and strategies
