Are you a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) who is passionate about helping individuals achieve their highest level of function and independence? Join our team and play a vital role in improving the quality of life for patients recovering from injury, illness, or disability. As a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant , you will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to deliver personalized treatment plans that empower patients to regain confidence, develop essential life skills, and achieve meaningful goals. What You'll Do Administer occupational therapy treatment programs with goals tailored to each patient's abilities, needs, and tolerance levels under the direction of a physician and Occupational Therapist. Assist patients with therapeutic activities and exercises designed to improve function, mobility, and independence. Implement treatment plans while demonstrating strong clinical judgment and sound reasoning. Monitor patient progress, document outcomes, and communicate observations to the Occupational Therapist. Educate patients and family members on home exercise programs, daily living skills, and the safe use of adaptive equipment. Provide compassionate, patient-centered care that promotes dignity, confidence, and well-being. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support optimal patient outcomes. Maintain punctuality and reliable attendance for assigned shifts. What We're Looking For Current certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant. Ability to work effectively under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent observational and documentation abilities. Note:

Requirements:
Qualifications Education:
Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant program.
Licenses/Certification:
Current COTA license required. Current CPR certification required.
Experience:
Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred.
