This contract position spans from August 3, 2026, through November 20, 2026, with the exciting possibility of extension through winter break. Your weekday schedule will run from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm, giving you afternoons and evenings to enjoy your own time. Make a difference each day by offering hands-on assistance as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) within a collaborative educational environment. Your expertise will help students develop the skills they need to thrive academically and socially.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

Valid certification as a COTA and eligibility to practice in California Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings is highly valued Ability to adapt and individualize therapeutic activities to student needs Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with teachers, therapists, and families Dedication to fostering student independence and growth

Primary Responsibilities:

Implement therapeutic interventions as directed by supervising Occupational Therapists Support students in classroom and small group settings to develop life and academic skills Record and monitor student progress, contributing to the achievement of IEP goals Communicate regularly with faculty and parents regarding progress and strategies Assist in the development and adaptation of materials and activities to meet diverse needs Enjoy the satisfaction of empowering students in a supportive school environment, working alongside a passionate group of education professionals.
