Located in a vibrant community near Penn Valley, this part-time opportunity is ideal for professionals passionate about pediatric therapy and school-based practice. Key Qualifications:
Valid COTA certification and state licensure (or eligibility) Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly preferred Proficiency in implementing occupational therapy programs designed by an OT Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, educators, and families Ability to manage caseload paperwork and meet deadlines efficiently
Responsibilities:
Assist students in developing, improving, and maintaining functional skills for academic performance and daily living Carry out occupational therapy interventions and activities under the supervision of a licensed OT Document progress and communicate updates to the OT, teachers, and families Modify or adapt activities and environments to support students' individual needs in the school setting Foster a positive, encouraging, and inclusive learning environment
