Key Qualifications:

Valid COTA certification and eligibility to work in a school-based setting Previous experience in school environments or pediatric settings highly valued Strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families Adaptable, proactive, and dedicated to helping students of diverse abilities Ability to travel between multiple nearby school sites during scheduled hours

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide direct occupational therapy services to students under supervision of an OTR Implement individualized educational plans (IEPs) tailored to support each childs unique needs Gather and record data focused on student progress, communicating observations as needed Consult with teachers, support staff, and families to foster continuity of care and ensure best outcomes for students Adapt activities and materials to promote participation and success in school tasks Maintain meticulous documentation, following district and professional guidelines
