In this energetic and rewarding position, you will collaborate closely with a licensed occupational therapist to implement personalized care plans across diverse settings. Your expertise will directly impact the students by providing compassionate, skilled assistance tailored to individual needs. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your physiology and anatomy knowledge while delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced, supportive environment. Duties Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as dressing, grooming, and mobility exercises, to promote independence and functional recovery Implement treatment plans designed by occupational therapists, ensuring adherence to prescribed interventions and goals Help facilitate therapy sessions for pediatric populations, adapting techniques to meet specific age-related needs Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress, treatment activities, and care plans in compliance with healthcare regulations Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and optimal outcomes Assist with medical imaging procedures or assessments when necessary as part of the overall therapeutic process Qualifications Valid certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) or Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) from an accredited program Prior experience working in skilled nursing facilities, inpatient hospital units, outpatient clinics, or home health settings preferred Strong understanding of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and occupational health principles Experience assisting with ADLs across diverse patient populations including pediatrics and geriatrics Knowledge of care plan development and implementation tailored to individual patient needs Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to therapy assistance Ability to work effectively in inpatient and outpatient environments while managing multiple priorities Join us if you're passionate about making a meaningful difference in patients' lives through energetic support and expert care!
