Job Description

Step into a rewarding role supporting students as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in a welcoming educational setting near Wilmington, DE. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Current and valid Delaware license as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Prior experience working as a COTA in school settings is highly valued Ability to work collaboratively with educators, therapists, and families Strong communication skills and a flexible, student-focused approach
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) for students Support occupational therapy interventions to promote student independence in daily school activities Document student progress and contribute to team discussions regarding therapy goals and adjustments Collaborate with occupational therapists, teachers, and staff to create accessible, engaging learning environments Adapt interventions and strategies to meet diverse student needs and abilities
