Job Description

Step into a dynamic, school-based opportunity serving K12 students across a vibrant region! Work alongside dedicated educators and specialists to support students success in a flexible contract position. Youll serve several sites, gaining experience across multiple school environments while making a meaningful difference in childrens educational journeys.
What Were Looking For:
Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in Florida Experience in a school setting strongly preferred Adaptability for serving students from kindergarten through high school Willingness and ability to travel throughout Hendry County (with sites assigned prior to the start of the school year) Solid communication and record-keeping skills Professionalism and positive attitude when collaborating with educators, families, and other team members
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct occupational therapy services to K12 students following individualized education plans (IEPs) Travel to assigned school sites in the county as scheduled Collaborate with school staff, occupational therapists, and families to promote students participation and independence Document student progress and maintain timely, accurate records as required Adapt and implement interventions to support learners motor, sensory, and organizational skills within the classroom environment Participate in IEP meetings as needed and provide input on student goals and progress If youre ready to embrace a varied and rewarding school-based therapy position, this is your chance to shine.
