Diamond Rehab Diamond Rehab is seeking a full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our therapy team at Westwood Manor in DeRidder, Louisiana. Therapy Sessions:
Work under the supervision of a Registered Occupational Therapist (OTR) to implement treatment plans and assist patients with therapeutic exercises and activities aimed at improving physical, emotional, and developmental well-being.
Patient Assessment:
Assist with gathering patient information, documenting progress, and reporting any changes in patient condition to the supervising OTR.
Treatment Plan Development:
Collaborate with the OTR to develop and modify individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and progress.
Patient & Family Education:
Instruct patients and their families on therapeutic exercises and activities to be performed at home to support recovery and independence.
Documentation & Compliance:
Maintain accurate and timely patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations and facility standards.
Qualifications Education:
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
Certification:
NBCOT certification required
Licensure:
