We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Pediatric Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team. The COTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide high-quality, individualized therapy services to infants, children, and adolescents. Using engaging, play-based interventions, the COTA will implement treatment plans designed to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care abilities, visual-motor integration, coordination, handwriting, feeding, and overall independence in daily activities. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about working with children, values family-centered care, and enjoys collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to help each child reach their full potential. Responsibilities Implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans developed by the supervising Occupational Therapist. Provide engaging, evidence-based, play-based therapy interventions. Assist children in developing fine motor, visual-motor, sensory processing, self-care, coordination, and functional life skills. Monitor and document patient progress toward established goals. Communicate observations and patient progress to the supervising Occupational Therapist. Educate families and caregivers on home exercise programs and therapeutic strategies. Collaborate with Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, and Physical Therapists. Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in accordance with state regulations and payer requirements. Ensure a safe, clean, and organized treatment environment. Participate in team meetings, continuing education, and quality improvement initiatives Qualifications Associate or bachelors degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program. Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) certification through NBCOT. Current state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. Pediatric experience preferred; new graduates with pediatric clinical experience are encouraged to apply. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
