What Could You Do With a Patient's Full Attention—and Yours? No watching the clock because another patient is waiting. No splitting your attention across a busy therapy space. No trying to make someone's real-life challenges fit neatly into a treatment room. As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant with Home Health Care, Inc. , you'll provide therapy differently: One patient. One home. One treatment plan. Then you move on to the next. Give Patients the Attention Their Recovery Deserves Home health creates space for focused, individualized treatment. Working from the supervising Occupational Therapist's plan of care, you'll help patients rebuild the skills they need for everyday life.
That could mean helping someone:
Dress and groom more independently Safely shower or complete bathroom routines Improve upper-extremity strength and coordination Prepare meals Use adaptive equipment Conserve energy during daily activities Regain fine motor skills Develop safer ways to complete everyday tasks Rely less on family and caregivers And because you're treating patients inside their homes, you can immediately see whether the strategies you're teaching actually work. What You'll Do Provide one-on-one Occupational Therapy treatments in patients' homes Carry out treatment plans established by the supervising OT Address ADLs, functional mobility, coordination, and upper-extremity function Provide therapeutic activities and exercises Reinforce home exercise programs Teach adaptive and compensatory strategies Educate patients and caregivers Monitor progress and communicate changes to the OT Collaborate with nurses, PTs, SLPs, physicians, and interdisciplinary clinicians Complete timely clinical documentation A Different Kind of Therapy Workday Home health gives you more independence—but also more ownership. You'll travel between patients, manage a field-based schedule, provide focused treatment, complete your documentation, and keep your day moving. For an organized and motivated COTA, that independence also comes with strong earning potential. $82,000-$110,000 per year in annualized earnings through a paid-per-visit compensation model. Plus mileage reimbursement between patient visits. Why Home Health Care, Inc.?
We offer:
$82,000-$110,000 annualized earning potential Paid-per-visit compensation Mileage reimbursement Full-Time and Part-Time opportunities One-on-one patient care Greater independence throughout your workday Free MedBridge Education Hub Licensure reimbursement Annual scrub reimbursement Cell phone reimbursement for eligible clinicians Medical, dental, and vision benefits for eligible employees Life and disability insurance PTO and paid holidays 401(k) Experienced OT, Clinical Manager, and interdisciplinary support New to Home Health? That's Okay. Experience in skilled nursing, TCU, inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient therapy, assisted living, neurological rehabilitation, or other OT settings can translate well. You bring your COTA foundation. We'll help you learn how to take it into the field. What We're Looking For Active Minnesota Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license Strong understanding of ADLs and functional rehabilitation Excellent patient and caregiver communication Ability to independently organize your workday Strong collaboration with supervising Occupational Therapists Valid driver's license and reliable transportation More Than 30 Years of Home Health Experience Since 1994 , Home Health Care, Inc. has helped Minnesota patients recover and remain safely at home. We're locally owned, Medicare-certified, and built around clinicians who can work independently while still having an experienced team behind them. You don't need five patients competing for your attention to have a productive day. Sometimes the best therapy happens when you can simply focus on the person in front of you. $82,000-$110,000 per year (paid per visit). Mileage reimbursement between patient visits. Full-Time or Part-Time. Email Nikky Vogelgesang at nicole.vogelgesang@hhcare.net with your resume and a brief overview of your COTA experience. One patient at a time. That's the difference.
