9681665-03038 Job Description Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting middle school students as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for the full 2026-2027 school year. In this role, you'll provide skilled support to students, collaborating closely with occupational therapists and educational teams to help each child overcome challenges and thrive in their learning environment. Work full-time, Monday through Friday, for 35 hours weekly, starting as soon as possible and continuing through June 2027.

Qualifications:

Valid COTA certification and state licensure (or ability to obtain) Previous experience working in school-based settings preferred Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to work independently and adapt to a dynamic educational environment Passion for supporting middle school-aged students with diverse needs

Key Responsibilities:

Provide occupational therapy interventions as directed by supervising occupational therapists Assist in implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) Conduct activities to enhance student participation in classroom and school activities Document services rendered and progress on student goals Communicate regularly with teachers, parents, and staff regarding student progress and strategies Support inclusion and foster an engaging, accessible learning environment
