Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract role supporting middle school students as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time opportunity runs from ASAP through June 2027, offering a consistent Monday through Friday schedule at 35 hours per week. Youll play an integral part in student success, working collaboratively with educators and therapists to deliver vital occupational therapy interventions.
Desired Qualifications:
Associates degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program Active certification as a COTA Experience working in a school setting, preferably with a middle school population Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to work efficiently both independently and within a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
Support the development and execution of IEPs for students on your caseload Implement individualized and group occupational therapy sessions focused on fine motor, sensory, and adaptive skills Collaborate with Occupational Therapists, special education staff, and classroom teachers to monitor progress and update goals Maintain accurate documentation of student sessions, progress reports, and communication logs Participate in student evaluations and contribute to team meetings as needed Taking on this contract role means making a meaningful impact in the lives of middle school students throughout the school year.
