Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) or COTA Part-Time

Job Description

One Location No Travel Monday-Thursday No Fridays, Weekends or Holidays Seaside Rehabilitation is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our pediatric outpatient team. This is an excellent opportunity for an OT/COTA looking for consistent clinic-based hours without travel between patients . The schedule may be especially attractive to therapists providing Early Intervention or other services in the mornings who are looking to add afternoon outpatient hours. Schedule Monday-Thursday Primarily 3:00-7:00 PM to accommodate school-aged children One longer day per week, approximately 9:30 AM-6:30 PM No Fridays, weekends, or holidays Afternoon/after-school availability is required One Location - No Travel All patients are seen at one Seaside Rehabilitation outpatient location . There is no home-to-home travel or driving between patients. About the Position Our caseload is primarily pediatric and includes children with a variety of developmental and functional needs.
Treatment may address:
Fine motor and visual-motor skills Sensory processing and regulation Motor planning and coordination Activities of daily living and functional independence Developmental skills Feeding and sensory-based feeding needs, when appropriate Parent/caregiver education Our OT team works collaboratively with Speech-Language Pathologists for children receiving multiple services within the practice. Responsibilities Provide individualized, child-centered occupational therapy Complete evaluations and establish plans of care for OT applicants Implement established plans of care under appropriate supervision for COTA applicants Monitor progress and complete required documentation Communicate with parents/caregivers Collaborate with our pediatric therapy team Qualifications Current New Jersey OT or COTA license , or eligibility for licensure Graduate of an accredited OT or OTA program Pediatric experience preferred Early Intervention experience welcomed Dependable afternoon/after-school availability Strong communication and family-education skills Why Join Seaside Rehabilitation?
