Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant The Felician School for Exceptional Children Lodi, NJ Job Details Full-time $40 - $85 an hour 22 hours ago Qualifications Experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) Experience working with individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders Occupational Therapy Assistant License Experience working with individuals with cognitive disabilities Experience working with children Occupational Therapy COTA Working with children with disabilities Associate's degree Full Job Description The Felician School for Exceptional Children is looking for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team! Position will begin Nov. 1, 2026 Hours 8:25 am-2:25 pm.
Qualifications:
1. Graduate of an accredited university with a BA or Associates degree in Occupational Therapy that is recognized by the AOTA. 2 .Recognized by the NBCOT as a designated COTA. 3. Holds current NJ license 4. 1-2 years minimum experience working with children with developmental disabilities (Autism, Down syndrome, LD) Job description: Provide school based services directed by the child's IEP; therapy to be provided in-person. Utilize therapeutic strategies to address goals written in each child's individualized education plan. Strong ability to communicate directly to the school support staff, parents and clinical supervisor. Participate in team meetings, IEP meetings and review meetings. Record session notes, progress and Annual reports.
