Job Description

Bring your expertise in school-based occupational therapy to a vibrant educational setting near Williamsburg, NM! This full-time opportunity welcomes professionals with either Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) credentials. With one or two positions available and flexible, diverse caseloads, you'll find a rewarding environment where you can empower students to achieve their fullest potential.
Qualifications and Experience:
Hold a valid state license as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) Experience supporting student development in a school or pediatric setting desired Skilled in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans Strong communication abilities to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams Comfortable working with a variety of age groups and diagnosis categories
Key Responsibilities:
Assess students functional abilities and identify areas for intervention Design and execute activity-based therapy sessions aligned with educational goals Support students participation in academic and daily routines using evidence-based strategies Keep detailed documentation of evaluations, interventions, and progress notes Contribute to IEP meetings and help craft objectives tailored to each student Offer consultative services to teachers and staff to promote inclusion and access Adapt interventions to address the unique needs and strengths of each student This position offers the chance to work alongside dedicated professionals focused on making a meaningful difference.
