PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
Job Summary:
The Village at Marymount is seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our per diem team in Garfield Heights, Ohio. As a COTA, you will play a vital role in helping our residents maintain and improve their physical and mental well-being, enabling them to live their lives to the fullest. Responsibilities:
Assist occupational therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for residents Conduct assessments, screenings, and evaluations to identify resident needs and abilities Design and implement occupational therapy interventions to address resident goals, such as improving mobility, strength, and cognitive function Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and efficient treatment Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident progress and treatment plans Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless transitions and optimal care
Requirements:
Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Strong understanding of occupational therapy principles and practices Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks with minimal supervision Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Active listening skills and ability to respond to resident needs
