Qualifications:

Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license Pupil services license is required Previous experience in a school setting or with K12th grade clients is strongly preferred Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with students, teachers, and families Collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn Your daily responsibilities will include: Supporting the delivery of occupational therapy services under the guidance of an OT supervisor Assisting with implementation of student-specific therapy plans in accordance with IEP goals Keeping detailed records of student progress and therapy sessions Participating in team meetings and providing insightful input on student needs Adapting interventions and strategies for a wide range of ages and abilities This position not only allows you to grow as a school-based therapy professional but also offers the chance to develop meaningful relationships within a supportive educational setting.
