Key Qualifications:

Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred Active or eligible pupil services license is required for the assignment Strong collaboration and communication skills Passion for helping students achieve their individualized goals

Core Responsibilities:

Implement occupational therapy plans designed by an occupational therapist for students from kindergarten through twelfth grade Deliver direct and consultative services, adapting to students unique needs in both individual and group settings Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and session notes Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to integrate therapeutic strategies into the classroom and home environments Participate in IEP meetings when appropriate, offering valuable insights regarding student development Maintain compliance with all district and state regulations This contract-based role provides a valuable combination of professional growth, hands-on experience supporting students across a broad grade range, and regular feedback from an experienced supervising OT.
