Required Qualifications:

Active state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Experience or keen interest in school-based and pediatric occupational therapy Ability to collaborate with occupational therapists, educators, and other support staff Excellent communication and interpersonal skills suited for working with children, parents, and staff Open to on-site work and able to commit to a full-time schedule

Core Responsibilities:

Deliver occupational therapy interventions designed by licensed OTs, focusing on supporting students functional, academic, and developmental needs Assist in evaluating students skills and progress, documenting outcomes, and participating in the development of individualized education plans (IEPs) Support students in group and one-on-one settings, adapting activities to various ability levels Work closely with educators to integrate therapeutic strategies into classroom routines Maintain organized, accurate records and communicate progress with families and staff
