Job Description

Category Schools - COTA Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) covering a maternity leave, with an immediate start through December. Your expertise will positively impact student success across five campuses, including two elementary schools, a middle school, and two high schools. You'll play a pivotal role in helping approximately 75 students—many at the secondary level receiving monthly or consult-based services—oversee their progress, and collaborate with dedicated school teams.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid COTA license Prior experience within school-based settings preferred Understanding of IEP implementation and documentation Comfortable managing a moderate-sized caseload Outstanding communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Flexibility to travel between multiple school locations
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services as outlined in IEPs Support a diverse student population with varying needs, primarily at the secondary level Monitor student progress, maintain records, and report outcomes to supervising therapists and educators Adapt interventions to help students achieve educational goals and participate in the school environment Coordinate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure continuity of care across all assigned campuses This is your chance to immerse yourself in a dynamic educational setting, making a significant difference in students' lives while working alongside a passionate professional network.
