Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) - Skilled Nursing $28-$34/hour + Supportive Team Environment Are you looking for a Skilled Nursing position where therapists are supported, respected, and choose to stay long term? We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our therapy team in a skilled nursing setting. In this role, you will work alongside experienced therapists, nursing staff, and healthcare professionals to help residents improve mobility, restore function, and maintain independence. Provide skilled therapy interventions to help residents improve ADLs, mobility, strength, safety, and independence. Monitor resident progress and communicate updates and recommendations to the supervising therapist and interdisciplinary team. Educate residents, families, and caregivers regarding treatment plans, safety recommendations, and home exercise programs. Complete accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care. Contribute to creating meaningful outcomes that improve residents' quality of life. What We're Looking For Graduate of an accredited Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant program. Current COTA license in good standing or new grad applying for licensure. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A team-oriented mindset and commitment to providing excellent patient care. New graduates and experienced therapists are encouraged to apply.
