Job Description

Jackson Therapy Partners seeks a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care across diverse clinical settings. In this travel/contract role, you'll implement OT treatment plans, support functional independence, educate patients and families, and document progress accurately. Work with a clinician-first staffing team that prioritizes integrity, collaboration, and personalized placements aligned with your goals while you impact patient outcomes nationwide. Responsibilities Implement occupational therapy treatment plans under OT supervision Provide therapeutic interventions to improve functional independence Assist with patient evaluations and report observations to the OTEducate patients, caregivers, and families on home programs and safety Accurately document treatments, progress, and patient responses in EMRCollaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support care plans Adhere to regulatory, facility, and professional practice standards Participate in orientation to new facilities and settings as assigned Maintain professional licensure and required certifications Communicate regularly with Jackson Therapy Partners recruiters and support staff Required Skills Therapeutic activity and ADL training Functional mobility and transfer training Patient and caregiver education Use of adaptive equipment and assistive technology Therapeutic exercise techniques Neurorehabilitation and orthopedics basics Pediatrics or geriatrics treatment skills (setting-dependent) Electronic medical record (EMR) documentation Infection control and safety practices Interdisciplinary team collaboration
