School-Based Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) | Bethlehem, Pennsylvania

Job Description

Make an impact as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) supporting students throughout Carbon and Lehigh Counties in the upcoming 2026/2027 school year. This contract opportunity offers a dynamic role in school-based settings, working collaboratively within a supportive educational environment. With four openings available, its a great fit for professionals who are passionate about occupational therapy in pediatric and educational contexts.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Valid Pennsylvania licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Current NBCOT certification as a COTA Demonstrated experience providing occupational therapy services to studentsschool-based or special education backgrounds are preferred Flexibility and willingness to serve in various locations throughout Carbon and Lehigh Counties Comfort and competence in delivering therapy to students with disabilities Ability to work a school-day schedule of up to 35 hours a week, following the local school calendar Must be able to attend an in-person interview
Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy interventions as indicated in student IEPs, supporting skill development and access to education Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided Adapt approaches and strategies to address diverse student needs Participate in team meetings and professional development, as required
Assignment Details:
Contract position for the 2026/2027 school year (assignment dates follow the assigned school calendar) Up to 35 hours per week, location and assignment may vary according to student needs and scheduling priorities Make a difference in students lives while advancing your professional skills in an enriching educational setting.
