As a valued member of the special education team on a contract basis, you'll play a critical role in helping young learners achieve their developmental and learning goals.
Qualifications:
Active and valid Pennsylvania COTA license required Previous experience in a school or pediatric healthcare setting preferred Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, therapists, and families Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
Work 37.5 hours per week, across 5 days, within a collaborative school team Provide occupational therapy support services to preschool-aged children, implementing treatment plans developed by OTs Monitor, document, and report student progress to support IEP goals and overall development Assist with adapting activities and environments for easier student access and engagement Participate in multidisciplinary meetings with other school professionals Foster a positive, nurturing environment that encourages students' independence and self-confidence
