Key Qualifications & Experience:
Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Experience providing occupational therapy services in school settings, especially with elementary aged children Knowledge of implementing therapy plans and IEP goals under OT supervision Ability to communicate effectively with both students and staff Familiarity with school-based documentation and procedures Flexibility and professionalism in a fast-paced school environment
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and indirect occupational therapy services to assigned elementary students onsite Collaborate with the supervising Occupational Therapist to support individualized student needs Assist in developing and implementing activities that foster students functional skills in the classroom and during other school routines Track student progress and maintain thorough documentation in accordance with district guidelines Communicate regularly with teachers and other support staff to ensure cohesive support for each child Participate in team meetings and provide constructive input for student success Highlights of the
