9593339-29075 Job Description Step into a rewarding contract opportunity utilizing your expertise as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in a supportive school environment. This position begins August 4th and continues through May 22nd, offering a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours per week. You'll positively impact the learning experiences of a diverse caseload of approximately 40 students across grades K-12.

Qualifications & Experience:

Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Previous school-based experience strongly preferred Familiarity with IEP documentation and goal implementation Strong communication skills for collaboration with educators and families Ability to manage and prioritize a varied caseload Adaptability in different classroom settings and age groups

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver occupational therapy services to students in accordance with their IEPs Support students in developing functional, academic, and life skills required for school participation Collaborate with occupational therapists, teachers, and support staff to ensure comprehensive care Maintain detailed records of sessions, interventions, and student progress Engage with caregivers and educational team members to provide training and updates Modify activities and school environments to enhance student participation and independence Attend and provide input during team meetings regarding student progress and support needs
