Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Current state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) is required Experience working in pediatric or school-based settings preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students, staff, and families Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist Flexibility and adaptability for working in a dynamic, school-based environment

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Occupational Therapist in delivering therapy services to students, focusing on motor skills, sensory processing, and activities of daily living Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in team meetings Collaborate with teachers and staff to support students IEP goals and ensure integration of therapy into classroom activities Educate and guide students and their families on techniques and exercises to promote progress Maintain a positive, encouraging environment that helps each child reach their full potential
