Job Description

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Dynamic Therapy Service Plus helps improve the lives of adults with special needs and their families. We support our therapists with a positive, collaborative work environment that encourages individual growth and interdisciplinary team development. The company manages credentialing, billing, caseload development, and overhead expenses while offering competitive compensation. Caseloads are built with each therapist's preferences in mind.
Responsibilities:
  • Work under the supervision of the appropriate occupational therapist. The supervising therapist sets realistic, achievable goals for each patient. The Occupational Therapy Assistant documents the patient's condition and provides appropriate education to patients and families.
  • Plan and implement individualized treatment programs that are consistent with the principles and requirements of the Texas Occupational Therapy Practice Act.
  • Record each treatment and the patient's response in the clinical or progress notes on the day of the visit, and incorporate the notes into the patient's record.
  • Work under the supervision of an occupational therapist and follow the supervision guidelines established by the Executive Council for Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Examiners.
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited two-year Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
  • Current Texas license or certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
Pay:
$45.00 - $55.00 per hour Expected hours: 5.0 - 30.0 per week
