9538222-78065 Job Description Step into an impactful school-based contract opportunity supporting students across K-12 levels by providing essential occupational therapy services as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). This role allows you to work alongside a licensed Occupational Therapist, ensuring you have professional support as you make a difference in students educational experience. The position commences August 3 and continues through May 28, with weekly and daily schedules that offer flexibility to accommodate varied assignment needs.

Qualifications:

Current, active COTA credential is mandatory Previous experience in a school environment preferred, but open to recent graduates eager to grow in a collaborative setting Strong ability to communicate and collaborate professionally with educators, students, and families Comfortable working with a diverse K-12 caseload

Responsibilities:

Implement occupational therapy treatment plans developed by the licensed Occupational Therapist Deliver direct therapy and support services to students, helping them maximize their learning and independence in the classroom Document session progress, follow mandated reporting procedures, and maintain compliance with school and state requirements Participate in team meetings and contribute to developing individualized education programs (IEPs) Adapt therapy activities to suit a range of student ages and abilities
