Job Description

Category Schools - COTA Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic school setting dedicated to making a difference in K-12 education by supporting students through skilled occupational therapy services. This full-time, on-site contract opportunity is designed for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys working across multiple buildings within a district-wide caseload near Belfair, WA, for the 2026-2027 school year. As a key member of the special education team, you will provide hands-on occupational therapy support to students, helping them succeed academically and functionally in school environments. Flexibility and a spirit of teamwork are critical, as you'll be traveling between various schools to address the unique needs of a diverse student group.
Qualifications:
Active Washington COTA license Current NBCOT certification Special education or school-based experience strongly preferred Ability to work full days (7 hours) for a total of 35 hours per week, on-site only Reliable transportation for travel between multiple school buildings
Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy services as outlined in student IEPs Collaborate with occupational therapists, educators, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized plans Support student learning, participation, and independence in classroom and other school settings Document student progress and communicate results to IEP teams Contribute to a positive and inclusive educational experience for all students district-wide Imagine yourself making a real impact, enriching students' daily lives while growing in a supportive environment.
