Job Description

Category Schools - COTA Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role supporting students' growth and development as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in a full-time, contract position. This opportunity spans one dynamic school site, close to Everson, WA, where you'll join the school team to provide essential services to students alongside a dedicated Occupational Therapist. Take your expertise to the next level working a weekday schedule (Monday through Friday, 7am-3:30pm) that allows for a healthy work-life balance. You'll play an integral part in helping students achieve their full potential during the academic year, starting August 27, with the assignment continuing until a direct hire is made.
Qualifications & Experience:
Active COTA license/certification required Minimum of one year experience in a school-based setting Deep understanding of pediatric occupational therapy concepts and best practices Excellent communication and collaboration skills Comfortable working independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
Provide occupational therapy services to students as directed by the Occupational Therapist Carry out intervention plans to support student IEPs and learning objectives Track student progress and assist with documentation for compliance and reporting Participate in meetings with staff and families to discuss student needs and progress Contribute to creating inclusive environments that foster student engagement and independence This position offers the chance to make an immediate impact in a supportive educational environment with opportunities to collaborate daily with experienced professionals.
