Job Description

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license Experience delivering occupational therapy services in a school setting Ability to work collaboratively with occupational therapists, teachers, and support staff Strong organizational and time management skills Effective verbal and written communication abilities Commitment to inclusive, student-centered care
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct occupational therapy services to students as determined by their individual education plans (IEPs) Support the lead occupational therapist in assessments, data collection, and developing intervention plans Document therapy sessions and student progress per school and state guidelines Assist with development and adaptation of classroom materials or activities Engage with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student needs Encourage students to develop fine motor, visual perception, and daily living skills Contribute to a positive atmosphere in a supportive school community—where your professionalism and enthusiasm for helping students truly matter.
