Role:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated COTA to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), you will work closely with our occupational therapists to design and implement individualized treatment plans that promote patient independence, strength, and mobility. You will also provide skilled interventions to improve daily living skills, cognitive function, and overall well-being.
Responsibilities:
Assist occupational therapists in the development and implementation of patient treatment plans Provide direct patient care, including exercises, activities, and interventions Conduct patient assessments and evaluations to identify physical and cognitive limitations Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and treatment plans
Requirements:
Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in occupational therapy assistant or related field preferred 0-2 years of experience as a COTA; experience in long-term care or rehabilitation setting preferred
