Job Description
About us Eye MD Surgery Center. Independent 2 surgeon, 1 OR ophthalmic ASC in Bethlehem, GA. Looking for a scrub tech to assist with eye surgery (mostly cataracts) 1-4 days per month, mainly Tuesdays. OR days expected to increase with increased volume.
MUST HAVE AT LEAST 1 YEAR EXPERIENCE IN CATARACT SURGERY
Surgical Technician (include but not limited to):FAMILIARITY WITH ALCON CENTURION
- MUST
BE COMFORTABLE TO TROUBLE SHOOT MACHINE AND SET UP VITRECTOMY FOR COMPLICATED CASES
- Getting back table ready for surgery
- Assisting surgeon during surgery
- Maintain sterility and infection control
- Clean and stock OR for surgery
- Assist in cleaning OR between cases
- Assist in sterilizing surgical equipment
