JOB DUTIES

• Provide chairside assistance to optometrists by accurately transcribing dictated exam findings to EHR
• Code exams to appropriate levels for billing
• Stock exam room supplies
• Assist with patient education via written materials, handouts, etc.
• Communicate with other health care providers via fax and mail (ie referral letters, diabetic reports, prescription refills, etc.)
• Maintain current stock of eyedrop samples, coupons, copay cards and etc.
• Dilate pts with eye drops as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

• Preferred 1 year working in a healthcare setting
