Job Description

JOB DUTIES
- Provide chairside assistance to optometrists by accurately transcribing dictated exam findings to EHR
- Code exams to appropriate levels for billing
- Stock exam room supplies
- Assist with patient education via written materials, handouts, etc.
- Communicate with other health care providers via fax and mail (ie referral letters, diabetic reports, prescription refills, etc.)
- Maintain current stock of eyedrop samples, coupons, copay cards and etc.
- Dilate pts with eye drops as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
- Preferred 1 year working in a healthcare setting
