The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and support in our ophthalmology practice. This position requires a blend of clinical skills, knowledge of medical terminology, and a passion for helping patients with their eye care needs. No prior experience is necessary. We will train the ideal candidate. Duties Conduct preliminary tests, including Humphrey Visual Field, OCT, Fundus photography, Corneal Topography, Pachymetry, Autorefractor using electronic health record systems such as Nextech and Forum Facilitate communication between patients and healthcare providers to enhance the patient experience. Qualifications Knowledge of anatomy related to the eye and vision is helpful. Previous experience in a medical office not necessary as this is an entry level position. Familiarity with medical terminology specific to ophthalmology is highly desirable. Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, especially Nextech, is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Aseptic technique knowledge is beneficial for maintaining patient safety during procedures.
