Perform functions in an eyewear lab to produce quality glasses and sunglasses.

Mon-Fri:

7am - 3:30pm, overtime required, including some Saturdays.

Essential Duties:

Operate various machinery and tooling to make prescription glasses and sunglasses. Use of fine measuring and finish equipment to block, edge, tint and groove lenses. Perform monogramming, cleaning, mounting and final inspection of finished product. Responsible for basic operation, cleaning and maintenace of lab tools and equipment. Perform multiple tasks in an accurate and efficient manner. Use product knowledge to determine the best manufacturing process while completing production of quality eye-wear. Communicate effectively with lab team and supervisors for problems and improvements. Complete data entry or signoffs for necessary systems and/or paperwork. Other duties as assigned.

Skills Needed:

Able to communicate effectively in written and verbal form. High attention to detail and processes. Ability to use basic math skills. Requires good attendance and the ability to remain positive in a stressful and fast paced environment.

Physical Requirements:

Able to stand and/or sit for the majority of shift. Consistent use of hands, fingers and wrists for manipulation of small parts. Able to lift and move up to 20 pounds. Work is performed in a warehouse environment with exposure to moving machinery, loud noises and chemical smells.

•Successful candidates must be able to pass a preemployment background check and drug testing.

Pay:

$15.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
