Job Description
Cruz Family Eye Care is looking for a friendly, energetic, self-motivated, and dedicated individual to join our team as an Optometric Technician/Medical Assistant. Candidates should have strong communication skills, the ability to multitask, and the flexibility to cover multiple roles when needed.
Optometric Tech Duties:
Collect patient history Assist with pre-testing, special testing (OCT, Visual Fields, Fundus Photos) Accurately document findings in electronic health record (EHR) Assist receptionist/optician with responsibilities
Receptionist Duties:
Greet patients and verify demographics and insurance. Assist in efficient patient flow throughout their visit Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments Understand, explain, and assist patients with insurances Assist with collection of co-pays and process payments. Understand and utilize our electronic health record system We offer a competitive wage, yearly eye exam and eyewear, paid time off, paid holidays, and 401K.
Pay:
From $20.00 per hour
