This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a collaborative environment, and takes pride in delivering excellent service. No prior optometry experience is required. We provide hands-on training for the right candidate.

Schedule Weekdays:

8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Rotating Saturdays (approximately two per month): 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM Compensation & Benefits Starting pay: $18.00 per hour Pay increases as skills, responsibilities, and competencies grow Performance bonuses tied to office goals Complimentary eye care for immediate family members What You'll Do Greet patients and assist with check-in procedures Confirm insurance details and process vision plans Guide patients through frame and lens selection Verify and interpret eyewear prescriptions Assist with contact lens education and insertion training Fit, adjust, and dispense eyewear Process payments and complete checkout Answer phone calls and support daily office operations as needed What We're Looking For Friendly, motivated, and detail-oriented Comfortable juggling multiple tasks in a busy setting Strong customer service mindset Basic math proficiency Ability to learn new systems and procedures quickly Prior retail, sales, or customer-facing experience is helpful but not required High school diploma or equivalent This position offers long-term growth opportunities in a supportive practice that values teamwork, professionalism, and patient care.
