Optometrist (OD) | Part Time or Full Time | Flexible Schedule Austin, TX We're looking for an Optometrist who wants to enjoy coming to work, take great care of patients, and still have plenty of life left when the workday is over. We're a locally owned optometry practice in Austin, not a big corporate operation. We've built our offices around a pretty simple idea: take good care of patients, take good care of the people who work with us, and don't make work more complicated or stressful than it needs to be. You won't be expected to see 30 to 60 patients a day with one technician. You won't have sales goals hanging over your head. And you won't be asked to push glasses, contacts, or products. We don't sell glasses or contact lenses. Your job is simply to be a great doctor. What It's Like Working With Us Reasonable patient volume so you can actually spend time with your patients No glasses or contact lens sales No sales quotas or product goals Friendly, supportive staff Owners who are approachable, accessible, and actually listen Flexible scheduling Part time or full time Good support so you're not trying to do everything yourself Competitive compensation Established patient base New grads are absolutely welcome We care a lot about the environment people work in. We want our offices to feel friendly, relaxed, supportive, and professional without being overly corporate or stuffy. Have an idea that would make something better? Tell us. Need help? Ask. Want to come to work, do a great job, enjoy your coworkers, and then go enjoy your evening? That's pretty much what we're going for. We don't believe good doctors need someone constantly looking over their shoulder. We hire good people, give them support, and trust them to do their jobs. What You'll Do Comprehensive eye exams Diagnose and manage ocular conditions Contact lens evaluations when clinically appropriate Document patient care accurately and efficiently Get to know your patients and provide a genuinely good experience Who We'd Love to Meet You have a Doctor of Optometry degree and a Texas license or eligibility for licensure. Beyond that, we're looking for someone who is kind, dependable, easy to work with, and genuinely cares about patients. You don't need 10 years of experience. If you're a new grad looking for a place where you can build confidence, ask questions, and enjoy your first years as a doctor without getting burned out, we'd genuinely love to hear from you. We're open to part time or full time and are happy to talk about a schedule that makes sense for both of us. If you're looking for a place where you can enjoy practicing optometry, like the people you work with, get paid well, and still have a life outside of work, come meet us. We'd love to get to know you. Apply through Indeed with your resume.
