Job Description
Paramedic, EMT, or military medic - Entry to mid level San Clemente and La Jolla locations. Part time, scheduled. Supplement current income. Our plan is to develop the clinic for an optional full time role. We are seeking a paramedic with good IV/infusion skills to join a physician-directed clinical research and treatment program. NOT a high-stress emergency environment. Apheresis knowledge or experience helpful but not required. Prior experience as a plasma donor helpful. Perform IV insertions and infusion therapy in accordance with physician orders Learn apheresis / plasmapheresis and Willing to learn other innovative state-of-the-art medical technologies Proficiency in medical equipment operation, venipuncture, and aseptic techniques Ability to lift heavy equipment or patients safely while maintaining proper body mechanics
