This is an Hourly position.
Overview:
POSITION SUMMARY
The Psychometrician administers intelligence, cognitive, aptitude, personality, and other psychological tests according to standardized test instructions to obtain data for use by psychologist in determining patient diagnoses and developing treatment plans.
Qualifications:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Bachelor's degree in psychology or related field
Experience:
At least 1 year of experience working with patients in a mental health or healthcare setting, ideally with psychological or psychometric testing, demonstrating knowledge of the principles of normal and abnormal human behavior, basic statistics, growth and development, and ability to attend to emotional and psychosocial needs.
Other Skills/ Knowledge:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience:
Experience working with pediatric patients in a behavioral health, mental health or healthcare setting. OSF HealthCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
