Join our dynamic and fast-paced team at SFMC Medical Center, a prestigious Level One Trauma Center. As a Psychotherapist, you'll provide critical support to our medical units in the hospital including the Emergency Department by offering assessment, diagnosis, recommendations, and brief therapy to patients experiencing behavioral health issues. This role not only offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on patient care but also comes with competitive benefits, including second shift differential and overtime pay. You will participate in one weekend first shift every three to four weeks to ensure comprehensive patient care.BENEFITS & PERKS OSF

Education:
Master's Degree in counseling or social workLicensure/Certifications:
Illinois licensure as a LCPC or LCSW Other skills or knowledge: Interpersonal skills necessary to effectively provide quality patient care. Required to demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development as well as physical, emotional, and psycho-social needs of the patient population served Proven skills in written/verbal communications, problem solving, independent problem solving, decision making abilities, creativity, prioritization/delegation and necessary computer-related skillPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience:
