Prepare operating rooms by setting up necessary equipment, supplies, and ensuring cleanliness in accordance with infection control standards. Support surgical staff by handling manual tasks such as heavy lifting and safe lifting practices to ensure a smooth workflow. Implement isolation precautions and other infection control protocols to maintain patient safety standards. Provide compassionate patient care by helping patients with mobility, comfort, and basic needs before procedures. Skills Prior experience in an ambulatory surgery center settings is highly desirable. Knowledge of basic life support (BLS) techniques to respond effectively in emergency situations. Strong manual handling skills with an understanding of safe lifting practices to prevent injury. Familiarity with infection control measures, including isolation precautions and safety protocols. Excellent patient care skills combined with a compassionate approach to support diverse patient needs. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining focus on patient safety standards. Experience working in high-pressure environments requiring quick thinking and adherence to safety measures.
