Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking passionate and experienced Instructors to join our team. As an Instructor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality education and training in the field of massage therapy. This is an exciting opportunity to share your knowledge and expertise with aspiring professionals. This is a part-time position contracted for specific course subjects you have experience in Intro to Lymphatic Drainage.Duties:
- Conduct classroom and practical instruction in various massage-related subjects
- Follow prepared sylllabi and lesson plans to facilitate effective learning.
- Provide lectures, hands-on training, and demonstrations to students.
- Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Create a positive and engaging learning environment.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements to ensure curriculum relevancy.
- Collaborate with other instructors and staff to enhance the overall learning experience.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in the massage therapy field or related subject matter.
- Possess a valid Utah massage therapy license (for massage-specific courses).
- Additional training/certification/experience required for advanced modalities such as Lymphatic Drainage.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy related to massage therapy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively educate and engage adult learners.
- Experience in curriculum development is a plus.
- Passion for continuous learning and professional development.
Job Types:
Part-time, Contract Pay:
$25.00- $35.
